Equipment description
KOWA Cine Prominars were manufactured in the 60′s. Thanks to their small size, they are perfect for working in the air, on a stedicam or handheld with a gimbal. The set consists of 8 lenses of 15, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 75 and 100 mm.
A recent rehouse at TrueLensService allows the lenses to be used during motorized and clip-on operation.
The workmanship and coating can't compare with current standards. The lenses have the same characteristics as the KOWA Anamorphic lenses - also available from our company.
They feature very unique characteristics, easily catching flares.
Sharp but low-contrast.
The optical design is very similar to the Super Baltar and Cooke Speed Panchro lenses.
