The ATM System team once again had the privilege of delivering the international production of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest – this time in Tbilisi. For some members of our crew, this marked their fourth JESC, following previous editions including Yerevan, Armenia.
In Georgia, we worked for the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) 1TV, providing key elements of the technical production. The project was delivered using our UHD2 OB van in a 17-camera configuration. In addition, ATM System was responsible for supplying a complete communications system based on Riedel technology, including the OB van system, over 30 intercom panels installed across the arena, and more than 40 wireless beltpacks.
This edition of Junior Eurovision also made history as the first Eurovision production ever delivered natively in 1080p50, complemented by Dolby 5.1 audio. The production brought together teams and professionals from 33 countries and was broadcast on public broadcasters’ channels as well as online platforms. Viewers from over 180 countries cast their votes to choose the winner of this remarkable competition.
We are proud to have been trusted once again and to be part of such a landmark event in the world of international live television production.
