An Ultra Wide Angle Lens designed to provide the widest possible angle of view for 35mm motion picture cinematography. The Oppenheimer version of the original Nikkor is mechanically a new lens. The lens is adjusted to fully cover a 35 Academy frame, and to cover a Super 35 frame out to a 1.78 image area.
