Designed in the early 1970’s, this lens was the world’s first 35mm format zoom to feature a Macro function for achieving close focus. It has a fast and constant T2.8 stop across the entire 5x zoom range. In fact for it’s time the performance of this zoom outperformed many primes lenses on offer.

While only covering the standard 35mm format, this lens is certainly usable in Super35, and when paired with one our Full Frame expanders you get a beautiful 40-192mm T4 1/3 equivalent lens.
