Canon SK-type Rangefinder
Type SK lenses are made of early 60s Canon Rangefinder glass and are characterized by:
a fast effective T stop
consistent warm color tone
soft out of focus bokeh
pleasing field curvature with cats eye bokeh
golden flares
soft gentle glowing highlights
and extremely low chromatic aberration.
“Type SK” is an homage to Japanese optics, and also to Canon’s Original name “Seiki Kogaku” which means “Precision Optics” in Japanese.
