product image

Type SK lenses are made of early 60s Canon Rangefinder glass and are characterized by:

  •  a fast effective T stop

  • consistent warm color tone

  • soft out of focus bokeh

  • pleasing field curvature with cats eye bokeh

  • golden flares

  • soft gentle glowing highlights

  • and extremely low chromatic aberration.

  • “Type SK”  is an homage to Japanese optics, and also to Canon’s Original name “Seiki Kogaku” which means “Precision Optics” in Japanese.
