Rehoused anew - that's how we define the ancient phoenix. This zoom, the Angenieux 28-70 f2.6 has been rehoused many times, unfortunately without good results.
This time Iron Glass and Ancient Optics spared no expense and did a good job creating this wonderful compact zoom.
Full-frame coverage, beautiful flare, a vintage look and good light for such a zoom make it the most versatile lens in this class.
What is worth noting is that it is parfocal and does not vignette at wide angles.
It will be perfect for such fixed lenses as Canon FD/K-35, Olympus OM and Konica.
