Red Bull has once again pushed the boundaries of what’s possible. Warsaw had never seen anything like it before. Jaan Roose crossed a 500-metre-long slackline, just 2 centimetres wide, suspended 180 metres above the ground. Walking a line stretched between the two tallest skyscrapers in the Polish capital is nothing short of extraordinary. Productions of this scale are always a major challenge, which is why we were excited to take on the live broadcast of this remarkable event.

This time, a traditional OB truck simply wasn’t an option. To bring this vision to life, we had to go beyond standard broadcast workflows. Literally. Our production control centre was built at the very top of Varso Tower, more than 200 metres above the ground. Establishing a fully operational broadcast hub in the clouds was a significant logistical challenge, but it gave us complete control over every aspect of the production.

We needed to deliver an image that would allow viewers to see into the heart of the action and feel the excitement from the air. These extreme conditions were the perfect opportunity to use our latest innovation. At the same time, it is the original project of our R&D manager. Jakub Duczmalewski has constructed a bodycam system that weighs only 500g and enables FHD transmission. Thanks to the camera, we get a POV perspective that has been elusive until now. In this way, we obtained an image that gave the audience exactly what the main character saw.

The success of this production was made possible through outstanding collaboration with Future Gate. Together, we turned months of preparation into reality, proving once again that no challenge is beyond the capabilities of our teams. Special thanks also go to Tomasz Kuzalski, who led the project. Thank you to our teams for once again demonstrating just how high we can rise together.
