Fuji EBC T2.1 TLS

Fujinon EBC are legendary full-frame lenses, first introduced in 1971 for Fujica SLR cameras. Today – thanks to the collaboration between Ancient Optics and True Lens Services (TLS) – they have been given new life as a cinema set that blends unique vintage character with modern filmmaking standards.

Technology and Construction
The pioneering Electron Beam Coating (EBC) provides excellent control over light and contrast – a solution ahead of its time, which in a modified form is still used by Fujifilm today.

Each lens has been meticulously rehoused by TLS to meet modern cinema standards – featuring professional housings, consistent mechanical feel, and enhanced focus precision.

Set of lenses

Since the original lineup lacked a focal length between 50 mm and 100 mm, a new 70 mm T2 model was created using Fujinon glass and proprietary optics. The set also features a significantly improved minimum object distance (MOD), with an impressive 18” close focus for the 70 mm lens.

The set also includes the rather unique 28 mm T2.1 lens.

Sensor coverage

These lenses offer an exceptionally large image circle and are one of the best options for the FUJI ETERNA camera system with its giant 55 mm sensor. The Fuji EBC medium format primes cover a focal range from 24 mm to 135 mm!
