Equipment description
The modified Vista One lens kit contains only one layer of coating.
The image thus acquires a blue flare, a soft look, more reminiscent of vintage.
Using a high-temperature light source like HMI, the flare turns white, but still providing detail rendering. This is a very unique feature, as the character of the flare is retained all the way down to T5.6. Most uncoated or single-coated lenses often lose their character by closing the aperture by one or two flares.
